Rechargeable wall sconce with motion sensor, 5V charging

What it does

A rechargeable wall sconce that comes on the moment you walk past it, lighting the hallway floor or the side of your bed without you touching a switch. No fumbling for a switch in the dark. It ships direct from China, so there is no brand markup in the price.

This is a small cylindrical light with a wood-look handle at the top and a frosted white glowing tube at the bottom. A dark PIR motion sensor sits on the wooden section and faces outward. When you walk past, the light comes on. When you leave, it fades out again. Luminous flux is less than 60 lm, so it lights the floor, the stairs and the wall beside your bed without lighting the whole room.

Setting it up is one step. Press the round wooden base flat to the wall with its built-in 3M adhesive backing, then hang the light on the base by magnet, wooden handle up and glowing tube down. No nails, no screws, and nothing gets wired in or plugged into a mains socket. The light runs on a rechargeable battery and charges at 5V. It is not a smart device and no app controls it. As a battery wall sconce it also works away from the wall: put the base on a table or a shelf and the light stands upright on it.

It suits hallways, stairs, bedrooms and anywhere you want a soft wall night light after dark without wiring a fitting. Two wood-look finishes are available. Brown is a dark walnut-look finish, and Yellow is a light natural wood-look finish like pale oak or beech. It does not replace a ceiling light or a reading lamp, and it is not for anyone who wants app control or a bulb they can swap out.

Ships from China with tracking. The estimated arrival range for your country is shown next to the price.

• Light comes on when you walk pastA PIR motion sensor sits on the wooden section with its dark dome facing outward. It switches the light on as you pass and fades the light out when you leave. The frosted tube gives out less than 60 lm, so it lights the floor, the stairs and the wall beside you without lighting up the whole room.
• Sticks to the wall, no drillingThe round wooden base has a built-in 3M adhesive backing. Press it flat to the wall and hang the light on it by magnet. No nails, no screws, no wiring, and nothing to plug into a mains socket. That is what makes it a wireless wall sconce you can put wherever the adhesive holds.
• Pulls off the base and goes with youThe light holds to the base by magnet. Lift it off by its wooden handle and carry it as a handheld light down the stairs or into the kitchen, then set it back on the base and it hangs vertically again.
• Serves as a bedside light and a table lightHang it beside the bed and it works as a bedroom wall sconce for the middle of the night. Set the base on a table or a shelf and the light stands upright on it there too, so one light covers both spots.
