Cookie settings
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use as few as possible. Strictly necessary cookies are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies run only where you agree, or, where the law of your country allows them, until you turn them off. Only the services switched on for the store are used, and you can change your choice here at any time.
Strictly necessary (always on)
- vv-market: your country, currency and delivery region. 1 year.
- vv-duties: which countries have taxes and duties included, so the store never claims it where it isn't true. 1 day.
- vv-geo: the country you are browsing from, so we know whether to ask for cookie consent. 1 day.
- vv-locale-hint: your language suggestion. 1 year.
- vv-session: keeps you signed in, only if you have an account. 30 days, or until you sign out.
- vv-consent: remembers your cookie choice. 6 months.
- Browser storage (not cookies): your cart and your light or dark theme. They stay on your device until you clear them.
- Stripe sets its own cookies on the payment form and checkout page to process payments and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy.
- Cloudflare, our host, may set a security cookie (such as __cf_bm) to block bots and attacks.
Analytics (your choice)
They show us which pages work and where visitors get stuck. They load only after the page is ready, and only with your permission where it is needed.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland / Google LLC): _ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years. Page views and shop events (product viewed, added to cart, checkout, purchase) with a random browser ID. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft): _clck 1 year, _clsk 1 day. Heatmaps and session recordings of clicks and scrolling; form fields and payment details are masked and never recorded.
Advertising (your choice)
They tell the ad platforms that a visit or an order came from one of our ads, so we pay only for ads that work. They never run where you said no, and never when your browser sends Global Privacy Control. When you buy, the order (value, items, and your email and phone number in hashed form) is also confirmed to the same platforms from our server, under the same choice.
- Google Ads (Google): _gcl_au, _gcl_aw, 90 days. Conversion measurement, including enhanced conversions with hashed email and phone.
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram; Meta Platforms Ireland): _fbp, _fbc, 90 days. Meta Pixel and Conversions API.
- TikTok (TikTok Technology Ltd, Ireland): _ttp, 13 months. TikTok Pixel and Events API.
- Microsoft Advertising (Microsoft): _uetsid 1 day, _uetvid 13 months, _uetmsclkid 90 days, and Microsoft's MUID. UET tag and Conversions API.
- OpenAI Ads (ads in ChatGPT; OpenAI): __oppref, __obref. Measurement Pixel and Conversions API.
- vv-click (ours): the ad click ID from the link you arrived with (for example gclid, msclkid, ttclid, fbclid), 90 days, so a later order can be matched to the ad.
Your choice
Use the button below to see or change your choice. Turning a category off stops those tags from then on and asks the platforms to delete their cookies where they support it. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; the store will still work, but it will forget your country and language.
