What it does

This window cleaning robot wipes the inside of your windows while you do something else. Set it on the glass, press start on the handheld remote, and it moves across the pane with two microfiber mop pads. That ends the ladder and the cloth, and the streaks left at the top of a tall pane. It ships direct from China with no brand markup, so it costs less than branded machines in shops.

This window washing robot cleans the inside of a pane without you up a ladder. It is a flat white oval unit. Two round microfiber mop pads press against the glass, and a central suction cup on the room side holds the body in place while it moves. It wipes with the pads alone. There is no tank, so nothing pours into it and no liquid is fed onto the glass.

To set it up, plug the 5 m power cord into the round port beside the power button at the bottom end of the body. Clip the safety rope to the small anchor point on the bottom edge. Switch on the power button, set the unit on the glass with the mop pads facing the pane, and press start on the handheld IR remote. It then runs an automatic clean, or you steer it with the up, down, left and right arrows.

It suits tall or hard to reach panes, glass doors and other flat vertical glass you would otherwise clean by hand. It needs mains power while it runs, with the cord and the safety rope attached. It does not scrub with liquid and it is not a floor cleaner. Control is by the handheld remote.

  1. Crazy! After a robot that cleans floors, now there's one for the giant windows in my house. I pointed the remote control upwards. She first sprays a little on her rags and then adds a drop of windshield cleaner. It's brilliant. Read the instructions carefully. When you stop, you need to hold it and only then turn it off. Because what holds it in place is a vacuum that works all the time unless we turn it off.

Will it work on the glass I have?

Yes, for flat vertical glass. It holds on with 5600-6000 Pa of suction from the central suction cup and reads the edges of the pane automatically. As a glass cleaning robot it wipes the inside of window panes and glass doors. It is not made for floors or textured surfaces.

Will it fit my sockets and my voltage?

Yes. Choose the US plug type when you order and the power adapter and cord carry the matching plug. The input is AC 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz. UK, EU, AU and KR plug types are there too if you need one.

Is it hard to set up?

No. Plug the 5 m cord into the round port beside the power button, clip the safety rope to the anchor point on the bottom edge, switch the unit on, set it on the glass and press start on the remote. As an automatic window cleaning robot it then covers the pane on its own, and edge detection is automatic.

Does it use water or cleaning liquid?

No. There is no tank and nothing pours into it. The two microfiber mop pads wipe the glass as the unit moves over it.

Does it run on a battery?

No. It runs off the mains through the 5 m power cord at 72 W rated power. The built-in 500 mAh battery is a backup. If the power fails, the UPS keeps it holding on for about 15 minutes.
