What it does

This sprinkler timer turns your outdoor tap into two timed watering lines, so the lawn and the beds get watered on schedule while you are asleep or out. It ends the part where you drag the hose around and guess how long each area should run. You set the schedule once at the dial and it keeps to it. It costs less than branded timers because it ships direct from China with no brand markup.

This is a 2-zone sprinkler timer that hangs below an outdoor hose tap and splits the water into two timed lines. Zone 1 and Zone 2 each keep their own start time, run length and repeat interval, so one tap waters the lawn and the beds differently. It works as a drip irrigation timer on either zone too, since each outlet takes a hose through a quick-connect coupling.

Setup is at the tap. Screw the swivel female 3/4 in inlet, with its mesh filter washer, onto the faucet and let the body hang upright below it. Thread reducers, 3/4 in GHT male adapters and seal tape are included for different tap threads. Run a hose from each outlet you want to use. Programming is on the device: turn the dial to Set Clock, Start Time, How Long and How Often, enter values with the plus and minus and Zone buttons, then set the dial to AUTO. The valves open on schedule and water flows out to sprinklers or a hose nozzle. OK/Manual waters right away without changing the times you set. It runs on 2 AA batteries behind a sealed door.

It suits a yard with one outdoor tap and two areas to water. It does not suit anyone who wants to run watering from a phone, because every setting is entered on the dial. Each outlet needs a hose running to the area you want watered; the timer is not a sprinkler on its own.

No. It runs on 2 AA batteries in a compartment behind a sealed door. There is no mains wiring and nothing to plug in.

Can the two zones run at the same time?

What do I need to run it?
