What it does

Smart glasses with display put a 600 × 600 px full-color screen inside the right lens of the Meta Ray-Ban Display, at eye level. It ends the phone shuffle: arm out, squint at a small screen, snap the shot, and find the top of everyone's head cut off. The in-lens screen shows the camera preview while you frame, and the Meta Neural Band reads muscle signals so a hand gesture moves what is on screen.

The Meta Ray-Ban Display is a pair of smart glasses with a full-color 600 × 600 px display built into the right lens. These wearable display glasses come as a set with the Meta Neural Band and a foldable charging case. The screen runs at up to about 5,000 nits, so it holds up when the sun is out.

The Meta Neural Band is an EMG wristband that reads muscle signals from your hand. Small hand gestures navigate what is on the display, so your hands stay where they are. The case adds charges for up to 30 hours in total. The band is rated for up to 18 hours.

This set has the Black frame with Clear to Grey Transitions lenses, in standard and large frame sizes. The standard frame weighs about 69 g. The Meta Neural Band comes in three sizes: we confirm yours with you by email before we buy. The glasses are rated IPX4 and the band IPX7, so the two parts do not carry the same water rating.

The display sits in the right lens only. If you want a screen across both eyes, this is not that. It suits someone who wants a camera preview at eye level and control from a small hand gesture, without holding a phone up to frame every shot.

  • A screen inside the lens that holds up in daylightThe Meta Ray-Ban Display carries a 600 × 600 px full-color display built into the right lens. Brightness rises to about 5,000 nits, so the picture stays readable when you are standing in direct sun instead of fading out on you. You look straight ahead to read it, at eye level, not down at a screen in your hand.
  • Move what is on screen with a flick of your fingersThe Meta Neural Band is an EMG wristband that reads muscle signals from your hand. Small hand gestures navigate the display, so you never reach up to tap the frames or dig out a phone. The band is rated for up to 18 hours and carries an IPX7 water rating.
  • See the framing before you press the shutterThe glasses have a 12 MP ultra-wide camera with 3× zoom. The in-lens screen shows a camera preview to help with framing, so you see the shot while both hands stay where they are and can check it before you take it.
  • Six hours of use, up to 30 hours with the caseThe foldable charging case adds charges for up to 30 hours in total, so the glasses can go back in the case between uses and come out ready for the next one.
  • Two frame sizes, three band sizesThe standard frame weighs about 69 g and comes in standard and large sizes. This set has the Black frame with Clear to Grey Transitions lenses. The Meta Neural Band comes in three sizes, so we confirm your band size with you by email before we buy.

Questions

What comes with the glasses?

The set includes the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, the Meta Neural Band and a foldable charging case. The band is the wrist controller the display is navigated with, so it is part of how the glasses work, not an optional extra.

Is the display in both lenses?

No. The full-color display is built into the right lens only. It runs at 600 × 600 pixels and can be raised to about 5,000 nits of brightness.

Are these augmented reality glasses?

Yes, in the sense that a 600 × 600 px display sits inside the lens and shows what you are working with in your field of view while you look ahead. You move what is on screen with small hand gestures read by the Meta Neural Band.

Will they fit my face and my wrist?

Frames come in standard and large sizes, and the standard frame weighs about 69 g. The Meta Neural Band comes in three sizes, measured separately from the frames. Lenses are Clear to Grey Transitions.

How long does the battery last?

The foldable charging case adds charges for up to 30 hours in total. The Meta Neural Band is rated for up to 18 hours.

Will I pay anything when it arrives?

Any duties or customs charges are paid by you on delivery.
