Portable bluetooth speaker with microphone

What it does

This portable bluetooth speaker clips to your jacket or bag strap and plays your music and your calls while your hands stay free. Walking the dog, working in the garage, cooking dinner, you press the round button on the body and sound comes out of the grille on the front. It pairs with your phone over Bluetooth, so no cable runs between the two.

It is a small clip-on speaker in a plastic cabinet, made to ride on a strap or a jacket while you move. As an outdoor bluetooth speaker it follows you on a walk, a run, or a ride, and the grille on the front keeps facing you as you go. Music and phone calls both come through it, and the microphone sits in the body, so your phone can stay in your pocket.

Setting up is pairing. You press the round button on the lower body, with its lit ring, and the speaker works from there. There is no app for it and no cable from your phone to the speaker. Four sound modes are built in: 3D Surround, Stereo, Smart Sound and Extra Bass, and the crossover is two-way.

It suits people who want sound and calls while their hands are busy: walking, in the workshop, or moving around the house. It runs on a battery that charges in 2 to 3 hours. It does not suit anyone who wants to tune a speaker from a phone app, since there is no app control, and the set is the speaker unit alone, with no charging adaptor and no other accessories to fit.
