What it does

A magnetic floating globe hovers in the gap of a black C-shaped base on your desk, turning with nothing touching it. This is the light you notice when you walk into the room after dark: blue and white LEDs glow along the inner curve of the base while the world map ball hangs in mid-air. It gives the room a soft point of light at any hour, and the globe keeps turning on its own.

This is a table lamp built around a hovering world map globe. A black C-shaped base stands on a flat desk or table, and an electromagnet inside it lifts the globe into the gap between the two arms. Nothing touches the ball. It floats there and turns freely in the air, while blue and white LEDs glow along the inner curve of the base. Luminous flux is under 60 lm, so the light it gives is a soft accent rather than a bright room light.

Set-up is short. Stand the base on a flat surface, plug the cable into the round DC jack on the back-left of the base, and connect the mains adapter at the wall. Once powered, the base holds the globe in the gap and the LEDs light up behind it. The unit is listed for 110 V and 220 V supplies and runs on 12 V at the base. Choose the plug version that matches your sockets: US, EU, UK or AU. The globe comes in silver, blue or gold over the black base.

It suits a desk, a shelf, a side table or a hallway console, anywhere you want a small moving light after dark. It does not suit a person who needs light to read or work by, and it has no app, Wi-Fi or voice control. It is not a smart device and does not run on batteries. Keep the power cable and the globe out of the reach of small children.

Ships from China with tracking. The estimated arrival range for your country is shown next to the price.

  • The globe floats with nothing holding it upMagnetic levitation lifts the world map globe into the gap between the two arms of the black C-shaped base and holds it there. No pole, stand or axis sits under it, so the ball turns freely in mid-air and keeps moving on its own. You place the base on a desk and the map is open to view from the front and the sides.
  • Blue and white light that sets the mood of a roomBlue and white LEDs glow along the inner curve of the C while the globe hangs above them. Luminous flux is under 60 lm, so this floating globe lamp adds a quiet glow to a desk, shelf or side table in the evening. It is an accent light, not a lamp for reading or working by.
  • Runs from mains power, with no batteries to buyThe base takes 12 V through a round DC jack on its back-left side, fed by a mains adapter on a cable that runs off to the side. It is listed for 110 V and 220 V supplies. Pick the plug version for your country: US, EU, UK or AU.
  • Three globe colors on one black baseChoose a silver, blue or gold globe to sit above the black base. The base stands upright on any flat desk or table, and the open C frame keeps the globe visible while it floats and turns.

  1. Worst product ever!! I bought to, the first one was broken, which made it a hazard for children. The second one had very poor magnetic forse. Please listen and do not buy!!!! I tried to return, but they only gave me half of my money. DONT BUY!

  2. It’s very nice. I bought it for my 3 1/2 year-old son. The only disappointment I have is that the light doesn’t turn off. So we’ll have to turn off during the day when he’s not home and then turn it back on at night.

Questions

Will it work with the outlet in my home?

Yes. Pick the plug variant for your country: US, EU, UK or AU. The lamp is listed for 110 V and 220 V mains supplies, and the base runs on 12 V through the round DC jack on its back-left side.

Is it hard to set up?

No. Stand the black C-shaped base on a flat desk or table, plug the cable into the round jack on the back-left of the base, and connect the mains adapter at the wall. The base's electromagnet then lifts the globe and holds it in the gap between the two arms, where it turns freely.

Is this LED floating globe lamp bright enough to read by?

No. Luminous flux is under 60 lm. It is an accent light for a desk, a shelf or a dark room in the evening. Use a separate lamp for reading or work.

Can I control it from my phone or with my voice?

No. It is not a smart device. There is no app, no Wi-Fi and no voice control. It lights up the same way each time you run it from mains power.

What does it need to run?

Mains power only. The base takes 12 V from a mains adapter through the round jack on its back-left side. It does not run on batteries.

Why does it ship from China?

We buy from established suppliers in China, and they ship your order straight to you. The trade-off is time, so you see the estimated arrival before you pay.

Will I pay anything when it arrives?

Possibly. Import duties and taxes for United States aren't prepaid yet, so the courier may collect them on delivery. Nothing is added to our price at checkout.
