Star projector night light with up to 24 slides, under 60 lm

What it does

This star projector night light puts a star and galaxy scene across the ceiling and walls of a dark room. It ends the blank white ceiling you look at every night. One small plastic body does both jobs: a projection for the scene, and a night light for the dark hours after. It runs on 5 V, draws 0 to 5 W and never needs batteries. Pick your slide set: 1 random slide, 3, 5 (A or B), 10, 12 or 24.

This star projector night light is a two-in-one: a projector that puts star and galaxy scenes across a ceiling or wall, and a low night light in the same body. It runs on 5 V and draws 0 to 5 W. The body is plastic, shaped as a cartoon figure, and it carries the CE mark.

As a galaxy star projector it works by slide. The choice you make is how many slides come with it: 1 random slide, 3, 5 (A or B), 10, 12 or 24. Swap the slide when you want a different picture. In a dark room the scene lands on the ceiling and walls; with a luminous flux under 60 lm it will not brighten a lit room.

It suits a dark bedroom, a child's room, or a shelf where you want a scene behind the room instead of bright light. It does not use batteries, and it is not a smart device: no app, no pairing, no Wi-Fi. It will not read to a child, light a hallway, or replace a lamp.

Keep it and its slides out of a child's reach. Never hang it, clip it, tie it or place it in or beside a crib, cot, bassinet or stroller.

• New scene whenever the room needs oneChoose how many slides come with it: 1 random slide, 3, 5 (A or B), 10, 12 or 24. Each slide is a different star or galaxy scene, so the room can change instead of looking the same every night. The 24-slide set gives you the most scenes to rotate through.
• Projector and night light in one bodyIt is a galaxy night light projector in a single small plastic body shaped as a cartoon figure. One lamp covers two jobs: a scene on the ceiling, and a low night light. It draws 0 to 5 W, so it can stay on all night without using much power.
• A glow sized for a dark roomAs a night light projector it is built for darkness. Luminous flux is under 60 lm, enough to wash a ceiling with stars in a blacked-out bedroom or a child's room, and not enough to read, work or dress by. If you want a bright lamp, this is not it.
• No batteries and no app to set upIt runs on 5 V and does not use batteries, and none are included. It is not a smart device, so there is no app to install and nothing to pair. No bulbs are included either, and it carries the CE mark.
