What it does

This modern led floor lamp is a slim black bar on a round disc base, built to stand in a corner and light the wall behind it. It runs from 249 to 2000 lm, it dims at the level you choose, and it moves through multi-color RGB. That range means the room can be soft in the early morning, bright while you work, and low again once the day ends, without adding another fixture.

Set-up is assembly of the bar sections onto the base. A thin cable runs from the base to a USB power source, and the lamp runs on 5V DC through a USB Type-C connector. It does not plug straight into a mains socket, so it needs a USB port or a USB adapter at the wall to run. Once it is on, the remote control handles color and brightness, and the app handles the same controls from your phone.

It suits a living room, a bedroom or a foyer where you want corner light and moving color without wiring or a ceiling fitting. It does not suit anyone who wants a lamp with a replaceable bulb and a lampshade, because the light comes from a built-in LED board and nothing screws into the top of the pole.
