What it does

You press one button and a robot vacuum cleaner takes over the floor for about 90 minutes, driving under the sofa and around the chair legs while you get on with your evening. The pet hair along the wall and the dust under the table stop being chores you have to fit into the day.

This robotic vacuum cleaner takes over the daily floor job so you do not have to. Press the single START button on top and it drives across the floor in random mode for about 90 minutes, turning away from chair legs and other obstacles and sensing height differences so it backs off from drops. It cleans along the wall edge as well, where pet hair and dust collect first.

Set-up is a charge and a button. The unit sits on the floor on hidden wheels and you charge it with a USB cable at 5 V, 0.5 to 1 A. A full charge takes 240 to 300 minutes. There is no app, no remote and no charging dock, so nothing needs pairing. The vacuum runs on its 2000 mAh battery and starts when you press the button.

It suits a home with hard floors and carpet where you want the floor covered every day without doing the chore yourself, including rooms with low furniture it can drive under. It is a daily pickup machine, not a full-size vacuum: it has no hose, wand or handle, so stairs, upholstery and anything above floor level are out of reach.

Can I control it with my phone or a remote?

No. There is no app and no remote. You press the single START button on top and the vacuum runs on its own in random mode until the battery runs low or you press the button again.

Does it need a charging dock?

No. It charges through a USB cable at 5 V, 0.5 to 1 A, so you can plug the cable into any USB charger you already own. A full charge takes 240 to 300 minutes and gives about 90 minutes of cleaning. There is no base station in the set-up.

Will it clean carpet as well as hard floors?

Yes. It is a robot vacuum for carpet and hard floors, and it is made to pick up pet hair on both. Because it drives in random mode, it goes over the floor several times rather than following one planned route.

Will it fit under my sofa?

Yes, if the gap is taller than 6.2 cm. The body is 20 × 20 × 6.2 cm plus the wheels, and it is built to drive under low furniture and along curtains.

Will it fall down the stairs?
