The base runs on 12 V DC through a thin side cable, and the moon-shaped lamp is about 5.5 in (14 cm) across.
This magnetic floating moon lamp holds its moon-shaped LED in the air above a flat wood-grain base, with no visible support between them. The lamp is about 5.5 in (14 cm) across and its luminous flux is under 60 lm, so it works as atmosphere light. It's amazing... it's just as described... I thought it was small, but it's actually big, and the levitation effect while it's spinning is great... the light changes to three different shades. And the difficult part is getting it to levitate; you have to fight with the magnets. But it's a great gift.
