What it does

This set is two avocado-shaped PP units that stand free on the floor or a table. The feeder has a tilted bowl for dry food, a slot that holds a canned food tin, and a removable slow-feed maze insert. Lift the insert out and the feeder separates into a raised cat food bowl and a slow feeder bowl. The water feeder has a sealed clear dome with an inner stem over a drinking dish, plus a small round well beside it.

You fill the bowl with kibble or set a tin in the slot. Fill the water dome and water flows into the dish by the siphon principle, which holds the water output speed steady and keeps the dish at a set level. Nothing is plugged in and nothing is paired, so you move the units by hand and place them where your cat eats and drinks.

Three options are available. The Feeder is the avocado food bowl with the canned-food slot and the slow-feed maze insert. The Water feeder is the siphon water unit on its own. Feeder and Water feeder gives you both units.

It suits cats and small pets that eat dry food or canned food and drink from a low dish. The 5.31 in opening and the 690 ml water bowl are sized for cats, not large dogs. It will not feed your cat on a schedule and it will not run from your phone: the maze insert is the only thing that changes how fast your cat eats.
