What it does

This fingerprint padlock opens as soon as you touch the sensor with a stored finger. You walk up to the shed hasp or the locker loop with both hands full, and you do not dig through pockets for a key that bends or snaps. The square sensor on the front face reads your finger and the polished U-shaped shackle releases. It hangs through a hasp, a hole or a loop, and the battery charges again over a Type C cable.

This fingerprint lock padlock reads a stored finger and releases its shackle. Hang the zinc alloy padlock on a gate hasp, a shed staple or a locker loop and the whole lock sits there with no cable, no wiring and no mounting hardware. It comes in silver or black.

To use it, you touch the square sensor on the front face. The green LED shows the sensor at work, and the shackle pulls free to the left. The battery inside recharges over the Type C port, so you top it up with a standard cable. There is no app and nothing to install on your phone.

It suits anyone who wants to open a gate or a locker without carrying keys and who does not need to check the lock from somewhere else. It does not suit you if you want to open it from a phone, share access through an app or link it to a smart home platform, because it connects to none of those. It hangs by its shackle through a hasp, a hole or a loop, so it is not meant to be screwed flat onto a door.
