What it does
A door peephole camera puts your doorstep on a 2.8 inch LCD screen inside the door, so you see who is there before you unlock. No more pressing your eye to the old glass viewer. When someone presses the doorbell button or the camera detects motion, you check the screen or browse saved photos with three buttons.
This is a digital door viewer camera in two pieces. The round camera unit sits on the outside of your door, with the lens and two small IR dots around the doorbell button. On the inside of the door, a 2.8 inch LCD monitor shows the live image. When a visitor presses the button, or the camera detects motion, you look at the screen to see who is there before you open up.
A metal mounting plate and long screws hold the two halves together through the door hole. Three buttons run the monitor: left, power/center and right. They show the live image and let you browse the photos saved in the built-in memory. In low light the picture switches to black-and-white night vision. The memory is cyclic and overwrites the oldest photos first.
It suits a front door or an apartment door where you want a clear look at visitors without pressing your eye to the glass. It runs on dry battery power and works on its own, with no phone app and no Wi-Fi in how it is used, so no alert reaches your phone when you are out. It is for checking the door from inside the home. Choose Gold or Silver to match your door furniture.

This is a scam. Do not buy it, it is a waste of money. I tried also to approach the vendor, and he didn't agree to even refund me. Be aware.

The product arrived open and damaged.
I want to return it because it does not meet what it advertises, the quality is very bad, besides the vision is horrible, on top of that with batteries, it heats up, even when the device is not on.
I installed it and a few days later the screen stopped working, a disaster. You'll have to enlarge the hole in your door so it works for 15 days. I don't recommend it.
