What it does
An automatic fish feeder clamps to your aquarium rim and drops a measured portion of food into the water at the interval you set. It ends the worry of a late meeting or a weekend away: the fish eat on time, and nobody has to guess a pinch of food. Two buttons do the setting: T picks how often it feeds (8, 12, 24, 48 or 72 hours) and P picks the portion (1 to 5). The white unit is 110 × 75 × 56 mm.
This aquarium fish feeder clamps to the upper rim of your aquarium glass and holds 500 ml of food in a hopper under a clear lid. At the interval you set, an outlet slot at the low point of the hopper lets the food drop into the water, where pet fish, turtles, newts and frogs can reach it. It takes flakes, pellets, powders and strips, and the white ABS housing measures 110 × 75 × 56 mm.
Setting it up takes two steps. Tighten the screw clamp on the underside onto the tank rim so the box sits on the edge with its outlet over the water, then fill the hopper and close the clear lid. Press the T button to choose how often it feeds: every 8, 12, 24, 48 or 72 hours. Press the P button to choose the portion, from 1 to 5. Indicator lights show both settings on the feeder itself.
It suits a tank you cannot reach every day, and it fits on the rim without covering much of the tank top. It does not suit you if you want to run it from your phone: every setting is made on the feeder with the T and P buttons. It does not sit on the water surface or inside the tank, and no hose or tube runs to a pump.
