The Go2 is a four-legged robot that scans the space around it, walks over gravel and slopes, and follows at your side. Here is what each part does in your day, and how to pick a version.
A robot dog that sees the whole room around it
Its LIDAR covers a hemisphere around the body and picks up objects as close as 0.05m. A chair leg or a table edge in your hallway shows up before the robot reaches it.
A sensor that reads the room
The 4D LIDAR gives wide recognition with a small blind spot. With the dedicated app you can build a point cloud map of an area and set a path. Then the robot walks that route by itself.
Gaits learned in simulation
The Go2 trained in large-scale AI simulation. It has learned to walk upside down, roll over on its own and climb over obstacles. If it tips on uneven ground, it can recover.
Rage Mode for rough ground
Rage Mode pushes the joint motors harder. You get more speed and sharper steering, and the robot stays steady on gravel and slopes. That suits a garden path as well as a living room.

Capacity is up to 8,000mAh and voltage is up to 28.8V. Higher voltage helps motor efficiency and power. You can walk it around for longer before it needs to rest.
It follows at your side
The ISS2.0 side-follow system uses wireless vector positioning. The robot keeps pace beside you and works around obstacles on the way. You can walk across a yard and it comes along.
Poses you can show friends
It jumps, stretches, shakes hands, cheers, pounces and sits down. These are the moments a guest remembers when it greets them at the door.

Questions before you decide on a Go2
Is the Go2 only a toy?
No. It has a LIDAR with a 360°x96° field of view, detection from 0.05m, point cloud mapping with set paths and gaits that handle obstacles. You can also keep it just to enjoy.
How close can its sensor see?
The minimum detection distance is as low as 0.05m. That is a very small blind spot right at the robot's body.
Can I send it along a route?
Yes. With the LIDAR and the dedicated app you can build a point cloud map of an area and specify a path for the robot to follow on its own.
What battery does it carry?
The standard battery is 8,000mAh at 28.8V. A 15,000mAh battery is optional if you want more capacity.
How far can I be from it?
With the ISS2.0 side-follow system, remote control distance is over 30m.
Does it get new software?
With your authorisation, the robot connects to a cloud-based update service and upgrades its own programs over time.
